These food combinations can allow you to age slowly. You age faster due to the chronic inflammation – this also weakens your body. But with these food combinations you can regulate your cellular inflammation and feel better.

Pink Grapefruit and Avocado: Grapefruits come with an antioxidant known as lycopene which is known for reducing inflammation. However, by paining avocado with grapefruit you can increase lycopene absorption that in turn helps reduce inflammation.  Simple have grapefruit and avocado combination 1-2 times a week. This is perfect to prevent cell damage.

Olive Oil with Brussels sprouts: You can lower the risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts that causes blindness by consuming Lutein, a nutrient found in Brussels Sprouts. However, by adding olive oil to the sprouts, you can enhance the lutein consumption that in turn protects and enhances your vision. Have this combo 1-2 times every week and the best way to have it is by having sprouts with brown rice. You can prepare brown rice in the microwave and sauté steamed sprouts with olive oil – add turkey bacon to add more taste and nutrients.

Apples and Chocolates: Prevent heart disease by having apples and chocolates together. Apples alone provide anti-inflammatory compound known as quercetin that are known for providing ultimate benefits to the heart – especially in the apple skins. However, you can add more to your benefits by combining apple with flavonoid-rich dark chocolate. When you eat these together, they become powerful providing more antioxidants that reduces heart disease risks.  You can cut the apples into slices and dip them in chocolates with chopped nuts.
